Xerox has announced updates to its enormously popular Xerox App Gallery, giving you even more tools to enable your customers to simplify their workflows and boost their productivity – all from the easy to use ConnectKey-enabled MFP.

Customization is always a great way to get a customer’s attention. Every small and mid-size business wants products and solutions that match their unique needs. With the introduction of even more ConnectKey®-enabled devices, like the Xerox VersaLink C400/C405 printers and the B400/B405 MFPs, Xerox is making it even easier to give your customers exactly what they need. Xerox also provides additional support for their entire ConnectKey® enabled fleet – that means printers/MFPs of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. This is a big relief to customers who want to know that the technology they buy today will be able to evolve with them into the future. Xerox has also made the App Gallery more accessible by allowing end-users to browse the gallery without a login.
With this update, app downloads now automatically adjust “under-the-hood” to fit each MFP/printer’s capability and personality, meaning they automatically adjust for each machine’s screen size, scan capability (device or no device), class and age, even matching capabilities such as alerts and messages that are unique to the end user’s region.
Increased intelligence also means increased security, another word customers love to hear. Encryption is unique to the Xerox App Gallery, which uses HTTPS for a secure transport, authentication, and bi-directional encryption. Xerox controls, reviews, and even “whitelists” all apps submitted to the App Gallery to ensure that they perform as expected and meet the high security standards of Xerox.
